An ardent scribbler and sketcher, Ramon has been drawing for as long as he can remember. Intrigued by architecture from an early age, he is fascinated by how a home can tell so much about the person who lives there.
After starting his own practice in 1998, he co-founded Pleysier Perkins and today has over 30 years’ industry experience ranging from heritage restoration and design and construction practices, to modular prefabrication.
Ramon works closely with clients, learning about their lives, aspirations and priorities to unlock the most appropriate response. He sees every project as an opportunity to challenge architecture industry norms and improve environmental outcomes.
Avoiding trends and always aiming to simplify, Ramon’s pragmatic and problem-solving approach gets projects built, sees them stand the test of time and age gracefully.
A keen gardener, the integration of landscape is integral to Ramon’s design process and when he’s not designing homes, he can be found exploring design ideas in his own garden.
Ramon is excited to bring Pleysier Perkins Mini Homes and its beautifully designed garden studios to more gardens across Australia.
